1. Overview
GenPX is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support our clients’ digital transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. This role involves designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure within fast-paced enterprise and government environments.

2. Role
Organizations are rapidly transitioning to cloud platforms but often lack the internal expertise needed to architect, migrate, and optimize their environments. The Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in delivering secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions while supporting compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, and HIPAA where required.
3. Duties & Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Implement automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
- Configure networking, identity, security controls, and monitoring solutions
- Troubleshoot cloud performance issues and support ongoing optimization
- Partner with DevOps, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to ensure stable operations
- Document system configurations and follow cloud governance standards
4. Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP (certifications preferred)
- Strong background in automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code
- Experience with identity, networking, and cloud security practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
